Presentation Description / Summary: Guidewires are an essential tool for cardiovascular intervention. However, many interventionists do not have a thorough understanding of their intended use or are unaware of alternative products available. This session will provide a review and usage recommendations for guidewires including product nomenclature, currently available product types, and usage recommendations for cardiovascular procedures.

Upon completion, participants will be able to make appropriate guidewires selection for cardiovascular interventional procedures.
