Learning Objectives:

  • Upon completion, participants will be able to define polycythemia vera and describe its underlying pathophysiology.
  • Participants will be able to interpret key laboratory findings used to diagnose polycythemia vera and differentiate it from other causes of elevated red blood cell counts.
