In this case report we will be going through the case of a young canine patient that presented for vague but progressive systemic illness and muscle pain and how the diagnostic work up led to the diagnosis of immune mediated polymyositis.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion participants will be able to understand the role of advanced imaging, cerebrospinal fluid analysis and muscle biopsy in reaching a diagnosis of immune mediated polymyositis. .
Upon completion participants will be able to describe how muscle biopsy helped to confirm the diagnosis.
