Dr. White has had a long-standing interest in clinical research, clinical statistics, and evidence-based practice. Prior to her veterinary career, she obtained a Ph.D in genetics; during her clinical career (over several decades in mixed, emergency, and small animal general practice), she obtained additional training in biostatistics and epidemiology. Currently she teaches at Oregon State University and is a research collaborator with colleagues there and at other institutions.
