Dr. Keene is the Jane Lewis Seaks Distinguished Professor of Companion Animal Medicine at North Carolina State University where his an attending veterinary cardiologist at the Randall P. Terry Veterinary Hospital, and Adjunct Professor of Pediatric Cardiology at Duke University where he teaches in the pediatric cardiology fellowship program. He has had an active clinical and research interest in the pathogenesis and therapy of myocarditis and dilated cardiomyopathy for a long time.
