Dr Dennis Woerde graduated from the University of Sydney with first class honours. He completed a three-year residency in small animal internal medicine at the University of California, Davis. After becoming board-certified in small animal internal medicine, he continued at UC Davis for a two-year fellowship in nephrology, interventional endourology and extracorporeal therapies. He is currently working at Medipaws Veterinary Specialist Centre and enjoys clinical practice and clinically relevant research. He became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Nephrology-Urology in 2026.
