Dr. Minchan Kim is currently a second-year Small Animal Internal Medicine Resident at Washington State University. Originally from Busan, South Korea, he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Gyeongsang National University.
Following graduation, Dr. Kim served for three years as an Epidemic Intelligence Service (EIS) officer in the South Korean Army, where he played an active role in the national public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pursuing advanced clinical training, he relocated to the United States to complete a Small Animal Rotating Internship at Tuskegee University.
His primary areas of professional interest include interventional radiology and the management of immune-mediated diseases. Outside of the hospital, he is an avid tennis player.
