Presentation Description / Summary: This lecture will provide a thorough description of the various clinical presentations associated with Cryptococcus infection in camelids and small ruminants, and will bring attendees up to date with the recent changes in nomenclature associated with this organism as well as methods of assessment and diagnosis of this infection in the relevant species.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion participants will be able to define the various clinical presentations of Cryptococcus infection in camelids and small ruminants, and to conduct appropriate diagnostic maneuvers to exclude differential disorders
Upon completion participants will be able to describe the recently updated nomenclature ascribed to the various strains of Cryptococcus affecting animal species.
