Rebecca graduated from Cambridge University in 2007. She completed her PhD in 2014 at the Royal Veterinary College examining "Calcium-phosphate homeostasis in feline chronic kidney disease". Rebecca subsequently completed her internship and internal medicine residency at the Royal Veterinary College, becoming Board-Ceritifed in Internal Medicine in 2018. She is currently a Senior Lecturer in Small Animal Internal Medicine at the Royal Veterinary College. Rebecca is a Founding Member of the American College of Veterinary Nephrology and Urology and became a Board-Certified Veterinary Nephrologist and Urologist in 2025. Her current research interests include CKD, CKD-mineral and bone disorder, hypercalcemia, and nephrolithiasis in cats.
