Jess attended Hartpury university, Gloucestershire where she gained an FDSC in Veterinary nursing science in 2019. Since graduating she has worked at an equine referral hospital in gloucestershire, specialising in internal medicine early on which resulted in her acheiving VTS status in 2025. She is currently working towards a certificate in advanced veterinary nursing- equine emergency critical care. Jess lives in Devon with her Husband, who is a manager of a stud that breeds sports horses, they have their own small herd of ponies that they have bred, Jess's beloved old three star eventer and two very adored cats.
