Dicky was the first LAIM ACVIM diplomate to go into private equine practice in the UK in 2004, working at B&W Equine Hospital, a 40 vet equine practice in southwest England where he is still part of the referral medicine team. He is recognised by the RCVS as a specialist in equine internal medicine and has been awarded the RCVS fellowship for meritorious contribution to clinical practice. Dicky is a member of the ECEIM EGUS consensus committee. His gastric caseload increasingly involves medical and surgical management of chronic EGGD cases, something he believes all internists should be able to do.
