Graduated as DVM in 2003. Worked as a private dairy practitioner for 4 years. Completed an internship in food animal medicine and surgery at Kansas State University from 2007 to 2008. In 2008 moved to Auburn and completed a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine (FA focus) and a PhD in immune responses to vaccination in cattle. Worked at Auburn University as a Clinical Lecturer until 2015. In 2015, moved to Kansas State University as an assistant professor of livestock medicine and ambulatory service. In 2019 returned to Auburn University. I am currently a professor of internal medicine and surgery in the Farm Animal Section.
