Thomas J. Divers, earned his DVM from the University of Georgia, completed an internship in Large Animal Medicine at UC Davis, a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine and Ambulatory Practice at UGA . He was an assistant professor at the college for 2 years before moving to the U, Penn for 10 years serving as chief of the L.A. medicine section at New Bolton Center and professor of internal medicine. Currently, Dr. Divers is the Steffen Professor Emeritus at Cornell University, where he has happily worked for 35 years.. Dr. Divers became a diplomate of the ACVIM in 1981 and the ACVECC in 1996.
