Jose Estrada, DVM, MS, graduated from the National Autonomous University of Mexico Veterinary College. He completed post-graduate clinical training in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the Veterinary Specialty Hospital and a Master's degree from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. He also completed a small-animal internal medicine residency at the Veterinary Health Center at Kansas State University, College of Veterinary Medicine. He is currently actively engaged in clinical research, clinical trials, and clinical practice in feline and canine diabetes at the University of Florida through the ACVIM Diabetes Fellowship Program.
