Katrina Mealey earned a DVM from Colorado State University. She is boarded in small animal internal Medicine (ACVIM) and veterinary clinical pharmacology (ACVCP). She also earned a PhD in pharmacology. Dr. Mealey’s Program in Individualized Medicine (PrIMe) at Washington State University has pioneered the field of veterinary pharmacogenetics. She has authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles, a book, and has 9 patients. She is the recipient of the Zoetis Award for Research Excellence, AAVC Award for Research Excellence and numerous other awards. She is a fellow of the National Academy of Inventors and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
