Amanda has been a Certified Veterinary Technician in Minnesota since 2008. She spent her time working in internal medicine/oncology with BluePearl, before flexing into people leadership, becoming a supervisor, then technician manager. She obtained her Bachelor's and Masters degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology where her thesis work centered around on-the-job veterinary technician training. In 2019 she became a Divisional Nursing Partner with BluePearl, supporting learning, training, medical quality, career pathing, and patient care efficiency. This role allows her to live out her passion for elevating the veterinary technician role and working to ensure that there are career pathing opportunities available for technicians that are sustainable across the life of their career.
