Dr. Danielle Mzyk is a veterinarian and board certified veterinary clinical pharmacologist with expertise in drug disposition and therapeutic decision-making in food-producing animals. Her work focuses on how physiologic and pathologic states alter pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in ruminants, with particular emphasis on antimicrobial stewardship and drug residue avoidance. She is actively involved in clinical teaching, research related to judicious drug use in large animal medicine and routinely provides clinical consultation as a responder for the Food Animal Residue Avoidance Databank
