Graduated as DVM in 2003. Worked as a private dairy practitioner for 4 years. Completed an internship in food animal medicine and surgery at Kansas State University from 2007-2008. In 2008 moved to Auburn and completed a residency in Large Animal Internal Medicine (FA focus) and a PhD in immune responses to vaccination in cattle at Auburn University. Worked in Auburn University as a Clinical Lecturer in Food Animal Medicine and Surgery until 2015. in 2015 moved to Kansas State as assistant professor of livestock medicine and ambulatory service. In 2019 moved back to Auburn University. I am currently a professor of internal medicine and surgery in the Farm Animal Section.
