Dr. Joe Smith is an associate professor of large animal medicine and veterinary clinical pharmacology at the University of Tennessee. His research interests include clinical pharmacology of analgesics, antimicrobials and gastroprotectants in large animal species as well as clinical problem solving. He is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine as well as the American College of Veterinary Clinical Pharmacology.
