Today’s presenter began their career in animal care through a vocational veterinary technician program in high school. After spending many years working as a professional groomer, they returned to veterinary medicine six and a half years ago to further pursue their passion for patient care.
They completed their veterinary technician education through Penn Foster College and successfully passed the VTNE in the fall, earning the credential of CVT.
Over the course of their career in veterinary medicine, they spent several years working in the oncology department before transitioning to the neurology department, where they continue to develop their skills in specialized patient care. They are working toward their goal of veterinary technician specialist neurology.
