Presentation Description / Summary: n this on-demand session, a veterinary internist will provide an in-depth exploration of the diagnostic approach to solid gastrointestinal (GI) neoplasia in small animals. Topics will include clinical presentation, appropriate diagnostic testing, imaging interpretation, biopsy planning, and the role of endoscopy versus surgery in obtaining diagnostic samples. Emphasis will be placed on integrating clinical findings with diagnostic imaging and pathology to guide management decisions and client communication.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the clinical presentation and diagnostic workflow for small animals with suspected solid gastrointestinal neoplasia.
Upon completion, participants will be able to identify appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures, including imaging and endoscopic sampling strategies.
